Established in 1979 RBCo was originally based in Fremantle, has move a couple of times but is now back in Fremantle at 30 Amherst St.
Our bricks are salvaged from old buildings where a lime-mortar has been used as it is easily removed from the bricks. They are usually machine cleaned but sometimes hand cleaned.
We generally have two types of brick, wirecuts and pressed. (see photo gallery)
- Wirecuts – solid, flat on both sides, vary more in colour and size, quite rustic.
- Pressed – very dense and heavy, flat on one side and two indents on other side, uniform in size (most orders are a combination of both).
The bricks are stacked, wrapped and delivered on standard heavy duty pallets, generally 500 bricks per pallet. Delivery and handling is neat and efficient. Delivery is by hiab (or fork tractor by special arrangement). Deliveries only – no pickups.
We are happy to quote on any full or partial demolitions where there are recycled bricks involved. We also buy bricks.
